Apple Co-Founder says AI is lacking 1 thing

Steve Wozniak - the "Other Steve" who founded Apple with Steve Jobs has recently opened up about his thoughts on AI.

In a recent interview - Steve spoke about how he thought the human brain could never be replicated and that he was skeptical any technology could try to do that.

He was however quick to say that ChatGPT was "impressive" but ultimately it lacks "humanness" He agreed having the technology at our disposal would be useful for doing tasks that humans can't do at scale, but was worried about the fact it can make mistakes by not having a human element.

Meta releases their own LLM

Not to be outdone by others receiving the spotlight - Zuck and the folks at Meta have released their own AI tech called LLaMA!

Not to be confused with AI models that people can interact with, rather this is focused as a tool to help researchers, NGO's and nonprofits work with AI to further their studies

"We believe that the entire AI community — academic researchers, civil society, policymakers, and industry — must work together to develop clear guidelines around responsible AI in general and responsible large language models in particular,” the company wrote in its post. “We look forward to seeing what the community can learn — and eventually build — using LLaMA.”

Im skeptical of Meta doing anything Not for Mega profits so let's see where this one goes!
