ChatGPT is the Fastest growing app in Human History

ChatGPt is the fastest-growing app in history according to reports

"In 20 years following the internet space," UBS analysts reportedly wrote in a note to Reuters, citing a report from web traffic analytics firm SimilarWeb, "we cannot recall a faster ramp in a consumer internet app."

Almost 13M people were using ChatGPt per day in Jan and the figure has likely increased since then! The fact that it's free (when you can access it and it isn't down) and has received huge global news coverage cannot hurt it at all and will likely speed up its growth and usage as more and more people start to give it a try.

Meta to launch new AI division

Not to be outdone by all the AI hype that's going on, Zuck has created a new product group within the company dedicated to generative AI to play catch up!

The team is organized under current Chief Product Officer Chris Cox. They are researching experiences with text, images, video, and multi-modal experiences. Other large companies have also been investing in generative AI, such as OpenAI, Microsoft, Google, and Snap. Meta created its own model called LLaMA, which is available to researchers and is smaller and cheaper than other models.

This move is a sign that Meta is determined to stay competitive in the AI race.
