Meta AI Chief throwing some shade
Meta AI Chief seems to think ChatGPT isn't all that special and is "put together nicely"
When asked if Meta will follow with their own AI incarnation the answer was yes (but no details on when what, why, who, or how!) It seems the general thought is that both Meta and Google have serious data to train their AI models with the potential to make them even more powerful and make ChatGPT look tame! I can see both organizations using AI to enhance their advertising machines with generative AI for images, copy, and even video (Making your tv ad in Metas campaign manager is a real possibility in the future)
Sounds a bit like sour grapes that Meta didn't launch first, but we shall see how this story plays out - the race to AI dominance.
Google appears to be shaken and stirred by the launch of ChatGPT - so much so that they reportedly have at least 20 AI products in the works that will likely be fast-tracked like crazy! there is no doubt that Google faces a threat for the first time in its 20-odd-year history and this one is real. An AI-powered bing could move millions of eyeballs from its precious search and kill revenues (huge revenues)

AI Product of the Day
This isn't a day-to-day product for the general public, but we had to share!
Flawless is an insane piece of tech for the movie and tv industry. Basically, they can use AI to avoid any reshoots or re-edits! Check out their demo video for a movie called fall, where AI was used to take out cursing, change the language to well..anything, make it PG 13 from being 18+ by removing the language. This could change the movie industry (or the reshooting in the movie industry anyway)
